Joy Wong is a interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto, with a focus in painting, print media, poetry, and sculpture.  She is a current MFA candidate at Western University, London, Ontario. Her practice centres around the intersections of disgust and beauty, decay and decadence, with an emphasis on mortality and the physicality of the human body. She obtained her BFA from York University with a double major in Visual Arts and Creative Writing.

Joy is the co-founder and coordinator for the Toronto Printmaking Coalition, an artist collective aiming to unite the printmaking communities of OCAD University and York University.
